There are many kinds of unclean forces in nature. Demonic beings, representing the lower stage of the East Slavic pantheon, are popularly called undead. All harmful spirits that do not have a soul and flesh, but live in the form of a person, belong to the undead. Typical representatives of the undead: goblin, brownie, bannik, water, kikimora, field worker. All these creatures are speechless. The transitional link from undead to evil spirits is mermaids, in some cases they are endowed with the gift of speech. Mermaids are disembodied spirits from the category of mortgaged dead, that is, those who died an unnatural death. Ghouls belong to the mortgaged dead, having flesh - these are not spirits, but ghouls. Koschey, Baba Yaga and the one-eyed famously stand somewhat apart, the characters were not originally fabulous, they should be attributed rather to ghouls. A special tribe - demons. Demons are endowed with a soul almost the same as that of humans, the most accurate definition of this family is hell. The named characters have one thing in common, they are all inherently werewolves.
