Mayan Playing Cards

Playing cards on the theme of the ancient Mayan culture were produced by the Color Printing Plant (aka LKTSP) from 1975 to 1991. The cards were drawn by artist Viktor Sveshnikov, who drew several types of cards for LKTSP, including "Lubochnye", "Nevskie", and "Teatralnye". When developing the original layouts, some of the earliest issues (1975) were taken as a basis, where the suit is above the index, and the manufacturer placed the backs of that deck (in the form of ornaments) on two calendars included in the set. For the main back of the playing cards themselves, an image with a dragon was taken. Cards with such a back were issued in early 1978.

A modern edition of playing cards. The indexes of the cards are enlarged, which is the standard for playing cards and does not cause discomfort to players with impaired vision. Card format: Bridge (57x89 mm). The cards are printed at a professional card factory on modern printing equipment. The cards are made on two-layer cardboard with a dark layer from translucence, covered with a protective varnish. Limited edition - 600 decks.
