The playing card symbols are distributed according to dynasties and are illustrated with images of the most influential and noble leaders of a given period. Side by side with the kings is the fairy-tale hero Kaj Nazar (“Brave Nazar”) in the form of the Joker. Each sign in the deck has its own description. Peaks - Dynasty - Artashesids (189 BC - 1 AD). Founder of the dynasty Artashes I. The most prominent representative is Tigran II the Great (95-56 BC). The stable circulation “Armenia from sea to sea” (Mediterranean, Black, Caspian, Red) refers specifically to the empire of Tigran II. Clubs – Arsacid Dynasty (66 – 428). Founder of the dynasty Trdat I. The most prominent representative Trdat III the Great (298 - 330). It was III who declared Christianity the state religion of Armenia in 301. Worms – Bagratida Dynasty (885 – 1045). Founder of the dynasty Ashot I (885 - 890). Ashot I ensured that the competing Arab Caliphate and the Byzantine Empire recognized the independence of Armenia. Tambourines – Rubenid Dynasty (1080 – 1226). Founder of the dynasty Levon I (1198 - 1219). Levon is the creator of a unique Armenian state outside of Armenia - the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia.
